It takes a team of people to do anything truly great. Leading Trinity New Life Church is no different. Here’s just a few of the faithful making the magic happen.

Clayton Bell, Lead Pastor

After graduating from River Ridge High School in 1997, Clayton attended Florida State University, graduating in 2001. After college he served in a variety of ministry roles, including as a campus minister with Every Nation Campus Ministries and administrative director of Every Nation, Tallahassee.

He spent time at Moore Consulting Group, a PR and communications firm, before returning to ENT, where he served as Family Pastor for the past year. Clayton and his wife, Kelly, have one daughter, Caroline.

Afrika Minus, Worship Team

A Riviera Beach native by way of Tallahassee, Afrika moved from Tallahassee to Clearwater to be a part of the TNLC Launch Team. While serving as a worship leader in various environments in Tallahassee, Afrika steps into the forefront for Trinity New Life Church.

Afrika enjoys watching Jack Bauer tear it up on 24, listening to music from every place you can imagine, and having people put vague info on her website bio. She’s both an every woman and a super woman. It’s too confusing not to be true.

Casey Sheffield, Media Team

A great wife, a great daughter, another one on the way and an intimate knowledge of sound technology. What more could you want in a man? This is the life of Casey Sheffield, leader of the Media Team.

A graduate of Florida State University, Casey’s traveled the world in a military family. He speaks 45 languages fluently. He can kill a man in 2 touches. He can speak French in Russian. And he can work a sound board like no one’s business. He is…the most interesting man in the world.

Kelly Bell, New Life Kids

After graduating from Tarpon High School in 1999, Kelly attended Florida State University, graduating in 2003. After college she served in a variety of ministry roles, including as a campus minister with Every Nation Campus Ministries.

A long-time volunteer in children’s ministries, Kelly brings considerable experience and passion to New Life Kids. Each week she works with her team to create an environment where kids are loved, served and introduced to Jesus Christ.

Tristan Tully, Welcome Team

A native of the Tampa Bay area, Tristan returned home after attending Florida State University, briefly working in Georgia as a television broadcaster.

Tristan enjoys watching movies, listening to music, traveling and welcoming. She likes welcoming visitors to the YMCA, to TNLC, and welcoming returning members to TNLC. She welcomes people at Starbucks, even though she doesn’t work there. She’s just that nice. She’s just that friendly. She just that, well, welcoming!

Kristin Sheffield, Administration

A Bradenton native, Kristin comes to TNLC via Florida State, with a year-long detour in Orlando. She now realizes there’s a quicker way to get between Bradenton and Trinity, but that’s another story.

Well-versed in administration, TNLC is the third church she’s brought her considerable admin skills to bear upon. When she’s not organizing the world, she’s playing with her daughter, Samantha, getting ready for the arrival of her second child, and having family time with her husband, Casey.
