I don’t want to spoil it too much because we’ll have a recap video coming sometime this week, but I couldn’t let the day go by without saying SOMETHING about our anniversary service yesterday!

On August 2, 2009 13 adults and 6 kids gathered together for the first time as anything called Trinity New Life Church. Less than five months ago we began weekly services, and now over 50 people call TNLC their spiritual home. Yesterday we celebrated this incredible occasion with a service out at Fred Howard Park, a cookout with some of the greatest food you could ever imagine, and then we headed down to beach for a little bit of baptizing!

Congrats to the four who made their declaration to follow Christ yesterday, surrounded by so many watching at the beach. So proud of you!

Thanks so much to everyone who’s poured so much into this past year and helped us create something where nothing was before!

I love you, TNLC. I am so blessed to be your pastor. I love seeing you follow and worship Jesus. And I cannot WAIT to see what year two, year five, year ten and year TWENTY bring for God’s glory!!!

Be thankful for all God’s done, TNLC. But be even more excited about what He’s yet to do. See you Sunday!!!
