GALATIANS 5:13-16

13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[a] 15 But if you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another.

FULFILLED TO LIVE FAITHFUL

Because Jesus fulfilled the law, we can live faithful to God. This means that we no longer use our freedom as a means to gratify our own desires but rather we get the opportunity to bless and serve others!

PERSONAL REFLECTION

Q: Write out the command that sums up the law and place it somewhere you will see often. How does Paul tell us to avoid doing what our sinful nature craves?

Q: Would you say that you use your freedom to satisfy your own flesh and sinful desires or to love and serve others?

Q: What are ways that you can love and serve others in the way Jesus has loved and served you?
