ACTS 4:31-35

31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

The Believers Share Their Possessions
32 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. 33 The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. 34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.

The Holy Spirit is with you to help you do things that were even greater than the things that Jesus did. We were never expected to live our faith alone. God gave us the biggest helper we could ever ask for.

Q: What happened before those who owned their land or houses sold them?

Q: How does the Holy Spirit encourage you beyond your comfort? Does He enable you to give beyond what you think you can?

Q: Do you live generously? When people talk about you, do they see your ability to give out of what you’ve been giving?
