DEUTERONOMY 20:1-4

Regulations concerning War
20 “When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you! 2 When you prepare for battle, the priest must come forward to speak to the troops. 3 He will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them. 4 For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

SO, DON’T BE AFRAID

BECAUSE Jesus is in us, that means it is possible that we walk this world completely unafraid. No matter what we face, what trials come our way, who stands before us or against us…(proclaim this over yourself today) HE who is in ME is GREATER than he who is in the world!

PERSONAL REFLECTION

Q: Write down some of the battles you are fighting in this season or time of your life. Now ask God to help you fight these battles as a child of God, and to help you not to fear!
Q: Take a few minutes to read verses 3 and 4 out loud over yourself. Remind yourself of these truths with authority!
Q: How should this affect how you live your life today? Are there people in your life who need to know the victory they have in Jesus?
