Genesis 12:1-3

The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

Q: Why are we blessed? Are we blessed to simply be a blessing? In what ways are you a blessing to others? Is it something that you have to think about, or is blessing others a natural part of your identity in Christ? How many times have you been blessed by others? In what ways were you blessed? How did those blessing build your faith?

Q: Does God bless you in ways that enable you to bless others, or does He bless you so you have something to use for your own fanfare, selfishness, or newsfeed? What do you do with all that you’ve been given? Do you keep it all to yourself? How can you bless someone today, right now? In blessing someone else, will you help build their faith?
