MATTHEW 6:19-21

19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Jesus teaches that the real diagnostic of where our heart lies is where we store up our treasures. Yes, you say that you love healthy food, but all I see in your pantry is junk food and fruit loops…Does your treasure match what you say you love?

Q: Are you being real with your heart? Where are your treasures?

Q: What is the purpose of money? Do you allow other people’s purpose for money affect your purpose?

Q: Can money be used to praise God? Could its ultimate purpose be a way for you to praise the one who gives you more than anything?
