LUKE 6:38

38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.[a]”

GENESIS 12:1-3

The Call of Abram
12 The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

The very first thing we must ask ourselves is: “Do I love God?” Our love for and faith in God will cause all other things to fall into place. We will trust and honor Him and we will obey His word. When we put God before ourselves, we will give generously as God guides us. When God told Abram that He would bless the whole world by blessing Abram, He was pointing to Jesus (the true and better blessings to the nations).

Q: What is Jesus saying about faithful giving? Are you trusting God with your heart?

Q: Have you put aside fear and excuses and worshipped God with your finances?

Q: How will you bless others with the many blessings the Lord has given you?
