MATTHEW 6:19-21

Teaching about Money and Possessions
19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Money is a really great tool. It isn’t everything but it also isn’t nothing. It shows us where our true desires are. Its ultimate purpose may just be a way for you to praise the one who gives you more than anything.

Q: Are you being real with your heart? Where are your treasures?

Q: What is the purpose of money? Do you allow other people’s purpose for money affect your purpose? Q: Can money be used to praise God? How can you put this into action in your life?
