1 Chronicles 29:11-14

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. 12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

13 “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name! 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

Q: As a Christian, if you’ve said to Him, “You’re the only way, the only truth, the only light and I want you to be the center of right and wrong, and I am going to obey whatever you ask me to do,” and don’t, what’s wrong? Can you not trust Him in the area of finances? Are you wanting to obey in only some areas, but not all? Are you being selective in what you will and won’t do?

Q: Do you want to give God your best? Or just what you have leftover? Did God give you His best, His only son? Or did He just give what He had leftover? What do you want your praise to God to look like in the area of money? Do you want to praise Him with everything?
