2 Timothy 2:21-22

21 If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Daniel is an example to us of a godly person who had the discipline to say “No” to sin and temptation. Like us, he could not do that perfectly on his own. Daniel points us to the life of Jesus, who perfectly obeyed His Father. Jesus came to live the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died. When we trust Him, supernatural power is released in our lives to be holy and honorable.

Q: According to verse 21, if you look to flee from sin, what will the Master, God, do with your life?

Q: What things listed in verse 22 should you pursue in life? Lent is a time that we observe as Easter approaches. During Lent, you should assess our lives honestly and look to turn from your sins and repent.

Q: How might you lead others into holy and honorable living by your example? Who can you invite to Easter services or Discipleship group?
