EPHESIANS 4:1-5

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,

THE PEOPLE OF GOD

What’s at the local church? Mark Driscoll defines it as, “a community of regenerated believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord. In obedience to Scripture they organize under qualified leadership, gather regularly for preaching and worship, observe the biblical sacraments of baptism and communion, are unified by the Spirit, are disciplined for holiness, and scatter to fulfill the great commandment and the great commission as missionaries to the world for God’s glory and their joy.”

PERSONAL REFLECTION

Q: What does Paul beg for in this scripture? What does Paul need to acquire what he is begging for?

Q: How are you doing in following verses two and three? How much do you need God’s grace in your life?

Q: f you need grace, how much more to those around you need it? Especially those that do not know Christ? How can you grow by showing grace today?
