ROMANS 12:1-2

12 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Lastly, but certainly not least, a very important discipline to grow in sanctification is the worship of God. And not just living your whole life as worship but also in having specific time set aside to simply worship God. There is freedom when we take time to push everything out of our minds except for the glory of God, and when we listen to worship music and, heaven forbid, sing out loud, we take steps forward in sanctification.

Q: Paul says that if you are living the way God intends for you to, your life will look like what? A living and holy _____________.

Q: Would you say that your life is a living and holy sacrifice? How often do you take time to put on some worship music and simply glorify God for who he is? (This may help you with your living and holy sacrifice problem…)

Q: Are you currently accountable with someone who can help you get better in this discipline? If not, refer to the list you made on day 3 of potential accountability partners.
