JOHN 14:12-15

12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, obey[a] my commandments.

Jesus did amazing, miraculous works while he walked the Earth. By faith, we are not only called to do the same, but more. Here’s the good news: we don’t have to figure it out on our own; He is with us! Whatever we ask in His name, He will do to bring glory to God. Wow, that statement absolutely blows me away! Greater works of faith!

Q: According to verse 15, what should be the driving force behind the good works we do in obedience to God?

Q: To know you are called to do even greater things than what Jesus did can be daunting. What can you do to overcome the reservations you feel as you walk in loving, faithful obedience to Him?

Q: What would it mean in other peoples lives, if you lived knowing that God wanted to do greater works through you?
