Ephesians 1:13-14

And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Q: In these verses, we see that God’s good gift identifies us with Christ and empowers us to be witnesses for Christ. In Ephesians 1:13, through what does God identify you?

Q: In Acts 1:8, we see that we receive power and through that will be witnesses. Are you a witness for Christ by acting in the giftings He has given you?

Q: When you have an identity and walk in your giftings, how does your demeanor speak to those around you?
