Proverbs 13:22

Good people leave an inheritance to their grandchildren,
but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.

Ephesians 6:4

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

Q: What does a full and complete life look like to you? Is it found in your family calendar, or is it found in Jesus? Are you attempting to substitute God for the things that keep you busy? How can you be involved in events and activities and still show priority to God? Is it important to be intentional with your time and your kids’ time?

Q: What if you don’t have kids? How are you training yourself now, for the time when you do have kids? What about nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, or friends? How does your life reflect God to them? Do they see where your commitments lie? If you were to ask them, what would they say your top priorities are?
