Matthew 9:36-38

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

DEVOTIONAL QUESTIONS

Q: What does Matthew tell us about the harvest around us?

Q: If you were to reach one, and they were to reach one, and they were able to reach one, how fast would the gospel spread? But do you see this happening around you? Are you seeing the growth?

Q: It’s not the harvest that’s low. It’s not the people around us who just don’t need God anymore. There’s no wonder what God’s plan is to rescue the world. The only question is our participation. Will we work the harvest in front of us, all around us?
