JOHN 14:12-14

12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

Jesus tells us that we will not only expect to do the same works, but even greater works than He did. Jesus’ ministry touched a small part of the world while He walked the Earth. Today, we can bring the Gospel to the entire globe. Through the Name of Jesus, we can do mighty things in our communities, in our jobs and in our homes.

Q: What is the power of the name of Jesus? Why does Jesus do what we ask in His name?

Q: Do you truly believe that you will be able to accomplish the same and even greater works than Jesus did in His ministry?

Q: What will you do today to help the lonely, the hurting, the poor and the lost?
