MICAH 7:18-19

18 Where is another God like you,
who pardons the guilt of the remnant,
overlooking the sins of his special people?
You will not stay angry with your people forever,
because you delight in showing unfailing love.
19 Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean!

I JOHN 1:8-10

8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.

When Jesus died on the cross, He made the way for us to be cleaned. He now clears our guilt and declares us innocent if we receive Jesus’s free gift of forgiveness.

Q: According to Micah 7:19,where does God throw our sins when we are forgiven?
Q: What sins are in your life? How do you plan to repent ? (repenting means to turn from your sin to live anew by the power of the Holy Spirit)?
Q: Whom do you need to ask for forgiveness as a part of repenting from your sin? What impact might that have on their life if you humble yourself in this way?
