John 9:1-3

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. 2 “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”

3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.


Q: What did the disciples think was the cause of this mans blindness? Why did Jesus say that he was blind?

Q: Do you have a place in your belief about suffering that allows for God’s glory and power to be shown? Why or why not?

Q: Do you know anyone who is suffering who needs to here about how powerful our creator God is?
