I'm New!

Like any good host, we want you to feel welcome and at home. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions: How do I get there, what should I wear, what’s available for my kid, what should I expect in church, etc.?

So, the first thing we’d like to ask you, is to ask us anything! You can give us a call at the office (727) 858-7206 or you can email us. In the meantime, here are some other things you might want to know:

What should I expect the service to be like?

Each week we want you to be able to experience great music, an encouraging message, friendly people and creative atmospheres that are a part of the Trinity New Life experience. You can start checking your kids in at 10:15 a.m., and the main service starts at 10:30 a.m. An average service starts with a greeting, then we sing two or three songs, take a few minutes to greet each other, grab refreshments (complimentary) and bring kids to New Life Kids. We'll then continue with another greeting, (very) brief announcements, an opportunity to give, and then conclude with a two-hour sermon. JUST KIDDING! It's usually around 37 minutes, and we're done by 11:45 p.m. at the latest. On the weeks we take Communion (once a month) we'll shorten the music at the beginning and have a song or two at the end to worship in response to Communion.

What’s available for my kids?

Our environment for children, New Life Kids, offers experiences that your children will love. There is something for your children ages six weeks to 5th grade, while students in grades 6-12 attend regular worship services. Click here to find out more specifics about New Life Kids, including a description of each age group, when to drop your kids off, and to fill out our first-time guest card.

How do I get there?

Trinity New Life Church meets in Trinity Elementary off Duckslough Blvd (2209 Duckslough Blvd). Click here for directions and times.

What should I wear?

We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in. The pastor will be wearing jeans, if that helps.

Where should I park?

There's plenty of parking, but the signs will direct you to our reserved parking for first-time guests. Enjoy!

Will I be called out as a first-time guest?

You mean other than the spotlight and dance contest? Just kidding! No, we're not going to call you out and make you wave, stand up, or dance. We will ask you, like we ask everyone attending, to fill out the Connection Card you'll find on your chair. It's a great way for us to get to know you. There is a space on the back of the Connection Card for you to write down a prayer request. We have a prayer team that will pray over your request throughout the week.
