Monday Morning Leftovers 4/5

Happy Monday, everyone!
I know that may seem like an oxymoron, but let’s see what we can do about it! My plan is to post each Monday the “leftovers” from my Sunday sermon, the stuff that was good but didn’t quite make it in for some reason, whether it be time, focus, or…well, no, those would be the main reasons. Here we go!
- Yesterday we talked about the story God’s of Creation, Fall, Redemption and Restoration, and how the resurrection of Christ is the central cog in the entire story. Our main text was from 1 Corinthians 15 with a little bit of Hebrews 3 and Hebrews 4mixed in. Another great passage of scripture on the resurrection is Romans 6. Be sure to check that out!
- Author NT Wright has some great quotes on implementing the resurrection, posted on the RE:Mission blog.
- Mark Driscoll shares his thoughts on “What Has the Resurrection Accomplished?“
- Here’s a great book on the impact of the resurrection. Not just for theologians, anyone would enjoy it.
- Looking for some evidence the resurrection occurred? Here’s a video and another book that might help.
- Want to discuss the message further? Make sure to come to our New Life Group on Wednesday, where we’ll be discussing it in the study portion of the group.
That’s all for now! Let me know if this is something you’d like see on a weekly basis, or if there’s other things you’d like me to add. Whatever I can do to get you in the word and letting God speak to you, I’ll do it!

LOVE love love the brown bag thoughts! The hyperlinks made it easy too. I am curious what will be left for next week in this series? LOL
Thanks!!
