I know it's the third week in a row, but here's the last explanation: Monday's post will be a combination of thoughts from Sunday at Trinity New Life Church and leftovers from the notes from my sermons. Ok, here we go:
Let's start with the big one: yesterday was the second-largest Sunday in Trinity New Life Church's history, and the largest not on a holiday. That's just great, not matter what you think!
The line above is the same as last week, but, well, it's true again THIS week. Come on, somebody, let's get excited!
I LOVED baby dedications! Love seeing those families come forward and make a decision to make their faith a generational one. Check out the video of the dedications here.
Got to meet a ton of new people yesterday...if you're one of them, it was nice to meet you!
Remember, there's nothing you can do to be a better spouse, boyfriend, girlfriend, friend, boss, employee, or parent than be filled with more of God's spirit.
Holy cow did I almost fall of the stage yesterday. Le Boot almost claimed its first victim; ME! Come off, boot, come off!
Yes, that was a pink pocket square. I think it was a nice accent.
Had a little rant on 1 Corinthians 13. Don't hate it, but stop thinking it's about feelings. Love is a CHOICE, especially when our emotions aren't there.
Someone told me they loved how I worked in Rambo blowing people's heads off in a marriages. For some marriages, it's an accurate example!
I get to speak for the second time at the First Christian Academy chapel this Wednesday morning. Please pray I make much of Jesus with all the kids, parents, and teachers!
Next week we're talking about submission, divorce, sacrifice...you know, the stuff of light and fluffy sermons!
If you have any questions about the sermon, stuff I've covered in marriage, or stuff I haven't, send an email to info@trinitynewlife.com and we'll see if we can't answer it here or in the last message.
SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM! Don't wait! GO HARD AFTER GOD!!!!
Ok, that's it for today. Tell me what you thought of yesterday!
