Right Thinking

I love God’s Word. I meditate on it all day long. His commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me. I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on His statutes. I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey God’s precepts. I have not departed from God’s laws, for He Himself has taught me. (Psalm 119:97-100,102)

I will love the Lord my God with my entire mind. (Mark 12:30). I will conform no longer to the pattern of this world. I will be transformed by the renewing of my mind so that I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) Because I have the Spirit of God, I will make right judgments about all things-for I have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:15-16) The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) I will not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, I will present my requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

My heart is not proud. I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have stilled and quieted my soul. (Psalm 131:1-2) I take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5) I am not wise in my own eyes. (Proverbs 3:7) But I trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
