READ
JOB 1:20-22
Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. 21 He said,
“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be naked when I leave.
The Lord gave me what I had,
and the Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the Lord!”
22 In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.
ROMANS 8:28-30
"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.”

REFLECT
Divine denial, while painful, can be a blessing. It is the nature of God to bless, and God does not change. If you now stand in the family of God, redeemed and bought by the blood of Christ, you no longer bear the curse- Christ has carried that in his body for you. You are now the blessed of the Lord, belonging to the family of God, a chosen, royal priesthood. And if God is sovereign over all, he will make all things work for the good of those who love him.

"And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."
Jesus do not let us yield to the lies of the enemy. The tempter would have us believe that you do not desire to bless but to curse, but this is not true. We rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus, and I ask for discernment to know what is a lie and what is the truth. May you be glorified in my life God, in Jesus’ name, amen.
