JOEL 2:28–29

“And it shall come to pass afterward,
that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
Even on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.”

John 16 is found towards the end of Jesus’s earthly ministry. He comforts the disciples with these words. He will send the Helper, the Holy Spirit, to guide them and embolden them. Likewise, when you placed your complete trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit was given to you for life. Not just to save you, but also to guide you and embolden you to declare the Gospel and live like Jesus.

Lord, thank you for being my truth, my peace, and my joy! You are everything I need. Thank you for your supernatural provision. Humble me and remind me it’s only by Your power I can be a light to those around me. Amen.
