COLOSSIANS 3:12-15
12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. 14 Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. 15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

REFLECT
Tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and Kingdom love are the fruitful result of living for God. Fruit is grown, not given. This means that we must play a role in partnering with God to live out the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control from Galatians 5:22).
APPLY

PRAY
"And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."
Holy Spirit, open our spiritual eyes so that we can be discerning. Help us to see temptation from a long way off so that we can avoid wickedness. Help us to see our own sin in order that we might repent and live differently.
