PSALM 104:1-4

Let all that I am praise the Lord. O Lord my God, how great you are! You are robed with honor and majesty.2 You are dressed in a robe of light. You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;3 you lay out the rafters of your home in the rain clouds. You make the clouds your chariot; you ride upon the wings of the wind.4 The winds are your messengers; flames of fire are your servants.

REFLECT

This Sunday pastor Mason preached on the greatness of God. There is no being that exists that can claim to be greater than the one who created the universe. This week we’re going to focus on just a few of the many things that reveal the greatness of God. Today we’re celebrating the beauty of God. The psalmist is careful to communicate the majesty and splendor of God as he describes him. He says God is robed in honor and majesty, dressed in light. What makes God beautiful is who he is. Full of honor, majestic, good, full of light, no darkness whatsoever. When we behold the beauty of God, we ourselves are changed for the better. Let’s gaze upon his majesty today!
