READ

PSALM 104:5-9

You placed the world on its foundation so it would never be moved. 6 You clothed the earth with floods of water, water that covered even the mountains. 7 At your command, the water fled; at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away. 8 Mountains rose and valleys sank to the levels you decreed. 9 Then you set a firm boundary for the seas, so they would never again cover the earth.

REFLECT

One of the things that makes God unique among all of existence is that he is the one who created it all. He decided what the building blocks of all matter would be. He creatively came up with the natural laws that govern the universe. He crafted all the various creatures on land, in the sea, and in the air. He chose how to form the stars, planets, and moons that we see in space. Everything. All of it. He’s the one who did it. And he’s the only one who can truly create something from nothing. Any creation we make we have done so with materials already provided. But God takes nothing and makes it something useful. Truly his creative ability is unique among all things that exist. Let’s give him the glory his creativity deserves today!

PRAY

"May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."

Show me how to advance your kingdom in my life today. Help me to see the opportunities to be an example for you and to love others the way you have loved me. Let your peace reign in my life as I bring peace to others in every environment I’m in. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
