READ

Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT)

“8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”

REFLECT

Do you feel like an imposter in faith? Do you feel like everyone knows the Bible better than you; that everyone knows more than you?  Are you lost, feeling like you will never get it right or figure it out? Jesus calls us to focus our thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. He calls us to think like Christians. We need to learn to think like Christians. We need to learn His word.

APPLY

Q: Are you intentional about what you are thinking about?

Q: What is one way you can focus your thoughts and heart more on the peace of Christ?

Q: How are you going to share the gospel today?

PRAY

"Give us today our daily bread.”

You never fail to bless me with provision, Lord. You are always faithful to me. How great you are, God! Even when I am sinful, you bless and keep me. Father God, you are my shelter at all times! How great is your love for me, how great is my love for you! I fall to my knees and worship you!
