Colossians 3:12-13 (NLT)

"12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”

I proclaim that I need to be forgiven. I proclaim that I can be forgiven. I proclaim that all God’s children can be forgiven. I proclaim that I need to forgive others as God has forgiven me.

Q: Do make allowance for others’ faults? Why does scripture tell us to do this?

Q: Examine your heart, is there something you need to forgive that you have not? Why?

Q: How can you be an example of tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience?

"And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.”

Lord Jesus, rescue me from the hands of the enemy. Strengthen my resolve as I put on your armor. Fortify my faith in the face of the evil one. Amen"
