READ
2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (NLT)
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
REFLECT
As a believer in Jesus Christ, you are reconciled to God through Jesus. You have received the miraculous gift of salvation. How humbling it is to be loved by God so much that He would give this gift to his people. This gift is available to all who believe in Him. This gift can not be received by people who do not know about Him.
APPLY
Q: According to the Scripture, what task has God given his believers?
Q: Will you be His ambassador of reconciliation?
Q: How can you spread the call to others to come back to God?
SING
“God You’re so Good” by Passion
PRAY
"Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.”
Thank you, Jesus, for reconciling me to your Father. I ask you to use me as your ambassador so that other may be reconciled to you as I have been.
