HEBREWS 13:5-6
Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"
REFLECT
When we keep our focus on our Lord, there is nothing in this world that we can't face. Managing our finances can be daunting. The world is telling us to work harder, earn more, spend more. God is calling us to TRUST HIM with the details. With Him leading our lives, what do we have to worry about?
APPLY
Q: What is God saying to you?
Q: Does God’s Word change how you view your struggles? How do you view your relationships? How do you view your finances?
Q: How does this passage encourage you to reach out to others and share the Good News?
SING
King of My Heart by Bethel Music with Steffany Gretzinger
PRAY
"Give us today our daily bread."
Father, I have struggled with doubt. I have struggled with worry. Yet I know you are there with me even in my darkest moments. I rest at your feet, knowing there is no difficulty you can't help me through. No matter how bleak a situation may appear, you are my provider and I will trust in you. Amen.
