Devotionals for March 23, 2023
Good Friday service will be on April 7th at 7:00pm. Make plans to join us!
READ
Matthew 5:23-24 (NLT)
“23 So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.”
Galatians 6:10 (NLT)
“Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone— especially to those in the family of faith.”
REFLECT
Have you ever heard the saying “the ones you love are the ones who hurt you the most?” Well, you could be the one hurting someone the most. When you are in the community, in a family, there will be a time you will hurt someone. How then do you respond? Do you ask for forgiveness? As a member of God’s family you are called to reconciliation.
APPLY
Q: According to the Gospel of Matthew, when do you come and offer your sacrifice to God?
Q: Who do you need to reconcile with?
Q: How can you live out Galatians 6:10 today?
SING
“House of Miracles” by Brandon Lake
PRAY
Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
Lord Jesus, I am not worthy of the forgiveness you give to me. I humbly thank you for it and ask for your grace to show forgiveness to others as you have shown forgiveness to me.
