Psalm 32:3-5 (NLT)
3 When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. 4 Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. 5 Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

REFLECT
I am a sinner! This simple sentence is a declaration of truth. Face the source of your SIN - that you have been trusting yourself over God to determine what is right and wrong. Turn to the word of God, trust in the salvation of his Son, Jesus, and seek the grace and guidance of his Holy Spirit. Repent of your sins and receive forgiveness. Make the declaration “I am a child of God!”

"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy."
Father God, in your name I pray. Teach me to turn to you and not myself. Teach me to listen to you, to call upon you. Holy God, I praise you.
