READ

1 John 1:8-10 (NLT)

"8 If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.”

REFLECT

Most of the time, we know when we have sinned. How do we respond to this? It can be easy to try to ignore our actions/choices that led to our sins. But we can’t find peace when we ignore our sins, we can’t be in a full relationship with God. The longer we try to ignore our sin, the greater danger we are in of hardening our hearts; the greater the danger is that we remain separated from our Father. Turn to God. Confess. Repent.  Receive Forgiveness.
