READ
Philippians 3:20-21
20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
Revelation 21:1-4
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

REFLECT
Dear friends, here is the hope for all of us who call Jesus the Lord. We are only on this earth for a season and after that, the Lord will take us to heaven, our eternal home. It is there, we will all be 100% healed. We will be whole. No more suffering. No more tears. No more pain. No more mental anguish. No more worry. No more anxiety. No more fear. No more sorrow. No more crying. Let me encourage those of you who are suffering any mental, physical, or emotional pain, don’t stop praying for God to heal you here and now, but more so, live in the hope of your ultimate healing that has been promised to you. Paul said it best in Romans 8:18, “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” Let these words take root in your mind and heart so you do not grow weary or discouraged from doing good. For God’s word never fails.

PRAY
"And don’t let us yield to temptation but rescue us from the evil one."
May we never give up or grow weary of doing good, for we know Lord, that these present troubles are small and won’t last very long. We will look for you in them because we know they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So fix our gaze, not on our troubles, but on things that cannot be seen. Keep our hope firmly grounded in You and what is eternal.
