JOHN 14:23-26
23 Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. 24 Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me. And remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. 25 I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

REFLECT
Obedience is a sign of love for Jesus. Obedience to the Lord often means doing God’s will, not your own. But this takes daily practice, carefully considering choices through prayer, and abiding in Jesus. Like any other relationship, loving Jesus is a process, not a quick-fix or Google-able answer. But, the wisdom of God is worth it in the end.

"Give us today our daily bread.”
I trust in you to provide for my needs. Abiding in you, I will never be hungry. Thank you for being my wisdom and helping me walk in Your truth rather than my own. Amen.
