1 Corinthians 6:18-20
18 Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So, you must honor God with your body.

REFLECT
As Christians, we are free to be all that we can be for God, but we are not free FROM God. When we became Christians, the Holy Spirit came to live inside of our bodies. Which means, we no longer own our bodies. That might seem like you lost the freedom to do what you want with your body; however, God actually protects you from harm. Because your body belongs to God, we must honor him by not violating his standards of living.

God, thank you for buying me with a high price - the price of your Son, Jesus. I want to submit my body to You and You only. Help me honor you in all that I do. Remind me that my body is a temple for Your Holy Spirit. I love You Lord and I want to be strong for You.
