READ

Deuteronomy 8:1-2
Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the LORD promised on oath to your ancestors. 2 Remember how the LORD your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.

Psalms 136:1-4
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.

REFLECT

When social media drops a memory in your feed, what emotions does it spark for you? Memories are powerful. They help us remember the beautiful and painful moments in our lives. This is why God calls His people to always remember His mighty works in the past. It’s easy to focus on the miracles, those big moments of your life. But like the smaller memories of loved ones, God’s mundane acts in your life are just as meaningful and miraculous. Always remember the goodness and love of God.
