REFLECT
King David of the Bible wrote many of the Psalms and we can appreciate the rawness in each one. He was called a man after God’s own heart. Not because he did everything right but because he kept getting back up. He didn’t let his mistakes define him. He chose to bring the burdens of his heart to God and invite the Lord to create a clean heart in him once again. David is a perfect example of a life lived in yo-yo land. Great highs and great lows! Yet, even in the lowest of times, God did not lose track of him. God had a plan and a purpose for his life. The moments he screwed up didn’t keep God from fulfilling His ultimate plan through David’s line. The line that would lead to the birth of our Messiah, the one and only man who would do this life perfectly, Jesus Christ Himself!

PRAY
"May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."
Dear God, You know every place where I have slipped and every time I have fallen. You are familiar with all of my ways and yet you love me. May your Kingdom purpose through my life pitfalls prevail, so that I can be free from the yo-yo status of life and live victoriously for You.
