READ

Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV)
10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Romans 10:9-10 (NLT)
9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

REFLECT

The Lord had risen! What does that mean to you?

In Act 17:24-25, Paul tells us 24“He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, 25 and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need.” What is it that everyone needs? Salvation.

APPLY

Q: How are we to be saved? Are you believing in your heart and declaring with your voice that the Lord has risen?

Q: Other than at church, where are you going to declare your faith publicly this week?

Q: Is there someone in your life who needs to hear your testimony?

SING

PRAY

"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy."

Hallowed by your name, oh God! My voice sings praise to your name, my lips speak of your holiness, and my heart rejoices when it hears your name, my Lord! Worthy of glory and praise; my soul leaps at the chance to worship you!
