John 16:16-18
16 “In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”
17 Some of the disciples asked each other, “What does he mean when he says, ‘In a little while you won’t see me, but then you will see me,’ and ‘I am going to the Father’? 18 And what does he mean by a little while? We don’t understand.”
1 Corinthians 13:12
12 Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

REFLECT
The disciples had many questions, doubts, and disappointments. They didn’t understand all Jesus was telling them. We will also have many questions, doubts, and disappointments. There will be things we don’t understand, and God wants us to bring these honestly to Him. Being honest with God will give us the opportunity to strip away false mindsets if we cling to Him during our suffering. In addition, we will get a glimpse and understanding of the true nature of God a little more.

"May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."
God, I don’t always understand, and I have lots of questions. Help me bring my whole heart to you and share what I feel honestly. Please break down all illusions of who I thought You were and guide me unto all truth. I know Your grace holds me now and forever. Thank you for Your amazing grace!
