Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Try to picture the scriptures above.  Can you imagine “the Spirit of God hovering over the surface of the waters”?  It sounds similar to a mother bird caring for and protecting her young babies.  God’s Spirit participated in the creation of the world!  That is amazing to consider and picture.  Even today, God’s same Spirit is caring and protecting us.

Q: What was the earth like before it was formed by God?

Q: Do you feel God’s Spirit caring and protecting you today?  If you don’t ask God to reveal His Spirit more to you today.
