2 John 1:5-6
5 I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning. 6 Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.

REFLECT
John summarizes the important lesson Jesus taught him. We are to love one another. How do we do that? By accepting, listening, encouraging, helping, giving, serving - and the list goes on. So many options to show God’s love to others. Don’t be stingy - look for ways to be a blessing to others.

PRAY
"And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one."
Heavenly Father - keep me focused on the stuff that matters the most! Loving You and others Lord! You commanded us from the beginning to do this. Show me new ways to love others God. Don’t let me come up with excuses. Use me to grow more love in this world.
