John 7:37-39, Romans 8:15-16
37 On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” 39 (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)
15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

REFLECT
Jesus loved us so much that He gave us His Holy Spirit! AND better yet, He joins His Spirit with our spirit. Because of that, there is something new flowing out of us. His goodness becomes our goodness. His love becomes our love. Our spiritual DNA is being transformed to be more like Jesus. How cool is that! That’s the Goodness of God!

How blessed am I - that You would care enough about me to merge Your Spirit with mine! Thank you for giving me the tools I need to grow more spiritual fruit in my life. I can’t do it without you Lord. Walk with me every day and teach more how to have more Goodness of You in my life!
