READ

Ephesians 5:1-4
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

REFLECT

Though Paul is not talk about work or vocation here, his advice to the church applies to your work interactions and tasks today. You probably work with some challenging people. Other Christians have more than likely stepped on your toes. But Paul exhorts you to “walk in love” like Jesus. The Son of God “gave himself up for” as “a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Likewise, you get choose to be a living sacrifice today for God and for the sake of others.
