1 CORINTHIANS 15:9-11
For I am the least of all the apostles. In fact, I’m not even worthy to be called an apostle after the way I persecuted God’s church.
But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace. So it makes no difference whether I preach or they preach, for we all preach the same message you have already believed.

REFLECT
Does your worth come from what you do or how hard you work? If so, have you seen that affect the way you walk through your day? Maybe one day your worth is high because the work return is great. But when the fruit of your labor doesn’t bring the reward you expect, do you crash?
Your worth can’t be in what you do because what you do will constantly be shifting. But the One you serve never changes. His position is steady and can be counted on. If you put your worth in Him and what He says of you, then your worth doesn’t have to have an ebb and flow like the world’s worth. You were bought at a price! Your value is immeasurable. Let only God define your worth and value!

PRAY
"Give us today our daily bread."
Lord, I’m sorry for the times that I have placed my worth in anything but You. Those things have failed me time and again, but You have remained faithful. May I daily be filled up with the worth that comes from You alone and define myself from your measures, not man’s measures!
