COLOSSIANS 3:23
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

GALATIANS 6:9-10
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

REFLECT

Are you weary? Tired from the endless hours you have put into these current investments, relationships, places, etc. Have you lost sight of the harvest and entertained thoughts of giving up? You’re not alone!

This passage reminds us that some of God’s best work is right on the cusp of us getting weary and wanting to give up. It’s those moments as we lose sight of ourselves, our efforts, our investments, and our abilities, that we see God come through like only He can do. Sometimes it’s in a blink, but it’s in that moment where we surrender what we are not and accept everything that He is. If you’re tired, it’s ok. God can handle it! Bring Him your weary spirit and let Him revive you for His glory!

PRAY

"Forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us."

Lord, please forgive me for the times I’ve wanted to give up. The times I’ve called it quits, just when things were about to get good. Please give me the strength and the stamina to see this work through in my life. May I be revived and renewed today as I focus my efforts on You and Your glory!
