What Are You Witnessing To? | Acts 1:1–11

Jan 18, 2026    Pastor Clayton Bell

Why do followers of Jesus talk about Him everywhere they go?

In this sermon from Acts 1:1–11, Pastor Clayton teaches that witnessing isn’t reserved for professionals or pastors—it’s what every believer was created and re-created to do. From Genesis to the birth of the Church, God’s plan has always been to fill the earth with His image and His story.

Jesus tells His disciples they won’t receive a timeline or a kingdom—but they will receive power. Through the Holy Spirit, ordinary people are empowered to witness to an extraordinary truth: Jesus is alive, and His resurrection changes everything. This message challenges us to shift from focusing on what faith gives us to living as Spirit-empowered witnesses who carry the gospel to our everyday world.
